Bethany’s first love is unearthing the incredible stories and personalities from the world of
sports. She spent the early years of her career sitting in press boxes covering games for
newspapers, then expanded to online columns and finally to sports books. She loves the
excitement of live sports, sports features and the in-depth interviews and research that go into
the process of writing books about sports history like the Dixie Classic and the Big Rock Blue
Marlin Tournament or sports biographies about luminaries like Bones McKinney, Fletcher Arritt
and George Whitfield.
